Beach Access
Jaco Beach runs along the whole town. Most of our accommodations are within walking distance of the sand or directly beachfront; each booking listing shows the exact map location. Swimming conditions change with the tide and surf, so check local flags and ask lifeguards or locals before swimming.
Getting to Jaco and Getting Around
Most visitors fly into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) near San José and drive to the coast — usually around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
